Angel Chrisztina Wins Amateur Night At The Apollo

Angel Chrisztina is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Queens, NYC.

Angel won the first round of the Apollo Amateur Night and competing again on November 6th, 2023. Amateur Night Auditions are open to singers, dancers, comedians, rappers, spoken word artists, musicians, and variety artists. Those chosen from the audition will have the chance to perform and compete for the grand prize of up to $20,000. Performers ages 5-17 can compete to be recognized as a “Child Star of Tomorrow” for an opportunity to win a prize of $5,000.

She recently graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, where she studied for four years in the classical music department. Angel also attended the prestigious Berklee Conservatory in Boston.

She is a seasoned vocalist who has performed in bands since she was 9.

Angel performs every genre of music, including rock, R&B, pop, and jazz. She has performed in restaurants and bars throughout NYC since she was 12 and still does. Angel has completed her new EP, “Things I’ve Observed,” and has released two singles, “Don’t Mind Me” and “Better Than I.” Both videos are available for streaming. Angel is also a Sag Actor and starred in the 2017 biopic, “The New Edition Story.”

She has studied voice

with Tami and Daniel at Vocal Pro Studios over the last ten years. Angel Chrisztina is just getting started.
